Hus for Køb i Romans-sur-Isère, Frankrig

On a wooded valley in the heart of the Drôme, a stone bastide with the air of Provence, its swimming pool and its park, with a view of the hills. In the heart of a valley near a small village of just under a thousand souls, the property stretches over a park of around two and a half hectares. It is a bastide entirely built in stone on the foundations of an old farmhouse dating from the 1800s with approximately 270m² of living space. Mainly built on the ground floor, the architecture is charming with differences in levels and slopes of the roofs, as well as shifts in the walls. A large square tower stands on three levels and flanks part of the building. Several terraces decorate the surroundings of the house. A stone staircase descends to a terrace below the building on which an 11m x 5m swimming pool is framed by a paved terrace. In the park richly planted with many species of trees (chestnut trees, olive trees, Judas tree, poplars, pines, chestnut trees, etc...) a wide path allows you to walk through it and get drunk on the smells of nature while listening the song of the birds, guardians of the place.
